Week Roundup (weigh in 29/08)

Ups and downs food optimising wise, more details in my Bank Holiday Fail post on Tuesday.

This week was slightly better than last week, so I am mentally moving in the right direction.

Breakfasts this week have been a mix of fruit (nectarines, clementines, grapes, bananas) and seafood sticks.
Lunches have mainly been salads with either seafood sticks or pre-cooked chicken.
Dinners have been SW ready meals and quick stir-fries.

Syn count for the week:
Thursday - unknown
Friday - 12.5
Saturday - 50 - 60 (all gin based)
Sunday - 25
Monday - 12.5
Tuesday - 5
Wednesday - 17.5

Yesterdays syn count was high as I went to Harvester with my SW girlies after weigh in.
I fully utilised the unlimited salad cart to start, had syn free salmon & jacket potato with veg.
For dessert I had their "Sundae Best" with toffee sauce for 17.5 syns.
That was much better than the Rocky Horror Sundae for 36.5 syns or the Millionaires Sundae for 48!!!

Continuing with the 777 challenge this week, I cannot wait to see the results on the scales next week, so much so I'm already wishing this week away!

With regards to exercise I managed to get my butt to the gym 4 times, and I exceeded my target of 120 minutes in the gym.  I have my Silver body magic award, so now I am going to work towards the gold award.
One of my gym sessions this week was a PowerWave class, I haven't done one of these in ages. 
The class is 30 minutes long and involves using a weighted bag with handles (see pic).  
It is made up of 5 minutes for warm up, 20 minutes of circuits (5 different exercises x 50 secs each for 4 rounds), then a 5 min cool down.
Usually I would pick up a 3kg weighted bag when I haven't done one in a while, however my new gym only had 7kg bags available.  The workout nearly killed me!  I had intense muscle soreness for 2 days after, not even my Epsom salts could save me.
Though I must say I am really proud that I saw it through and completed the class as best I could as I never would have pushed myself that far.  
I am definitely going to book up and go again.
