Time to catch up! Weeks 11 - 14
Soooooo this week was my 14th weigh in, I'll do a quick round-up of the last four weeks.
Week 11 - lost 0.5 lb
Week 12 - gained 1 lb
Week 13 - I couldn't weigh in
Week 14 - lost 1.5 lbs - GOT MY 1 STONE AWARD!!!!
So I have now lost 14 lbs on the button!
Last few weeks I had lost my oomphf with SW, loss of motivation partly to my previous gain (week 12) and not being able to weigh in week 13.
I also had issues with my new job...I won't go into that headache!!
Now I have finally gotten over the stone hurdle I have enthusiasm for SW again, which is really great.
I am taking part in the April SW Photo Challenge on Instagram (@kt_untranslated) which I'm finding helpful as it reminds me to keep on track.
To give me an extra shove in the right direction I have also started listening to a hypnosis app called "Virtual Gastric Band Hypnosis" by easyloss.co.uk (it's the paid for app in Apple App store). They have a night-time and a day-time hypnotherapy session for each stage and the night-time one is amazing to fall asleep to.
I have been really good the past two days and I'm hopeful for the rest of the week too, and I think part of it is down to the hypnosis app.
I am off to Kings Lynn for a family party this weekend and I am actually taking SW friendly food to eat while I'm up there - thankfully there's no restaurant trips. I plan to drive and not have a drink, fingers crossed that goes to plan. I am staying in a hotel up there so I could always leave my car at the party and get a cab, but I don't really want that to be an available option as I want to not have a drink.
God it would be nice to feel like I don't need a drink in social situations, I hope that changes as my self esteem and mood improves.
Mini target for next weigh in set at 2 lbs, though as it will be my first proper "on it" week in a while I really want 4!
