Birthday week off in pictures - the highight reel

Here are some photos from my week off...

The last time I was at Paddington Station was 5 years ago, and I didn't get a chance to have a photo with Paddington, this time around I made sure there was plenty of time for a pic :)

Couldn't believe how lovely the Roman Baths were, it wasn't what I expected, for some reason I didn't think that the water would steaming hot.

The amazingly peaceful Bath Abbey...

Whilst in Bath we went to a restaurant called Herd, I had quite possibly the BEST steak ever.  I actually think it has ruined me for steak from other restaurants as I know it will not be as good as the steak I had there.
Oh and my "tappy top" Crème brûlée with a glass of Prosecco (yum!)

The gorgeous Canary Gin Bar in Bath & two very lovely gin and tonics

Adventure Bar in Covent Garden has some awesome cocktails, I love getting a Groupon for this place.  I bought it back in December and they expire end of March, so I saved it for my Birthday week.  I have another voucher left and I will be going up there in the middle of March to enjoy that one.

Copper Rivet Gin Distillery in Chatham was lovely, they are a craft gin distiller and they operate "grain to glass".  They complete the whole process, other distilleries will quite often will buy in the raw alcohol spirit and then mix their own botanicals to make the gin.

No birthday week off is complete for me without a trip to the Royal Observatory Greenwich, I absolutely love this place, and I love watching the planetarium shows.  This time around we watched one about the potential use and damage of Asteroids and it was narrated by Sigourney Weaver!
When I took GCSE Astronomy the tutor told us that the physical line in the ground is actually out by a little bit (not sure if this is actually true).
Whenever I see people posing for the "I'm in two time zones" pictures it always makes me laugh, but it had to be done.

And that's it for my birthday week :)
