End of Week 7 - SP Days
I am glad to see the back of this week, it has been a trying time at work, which I won't go into, but because of this I have found it really hard sticking on track. Somehow I managed it, not quite sure how as the old me would have sunk a bottle or two of wine and also had loads of comfort food.
My hard work thankfully has paid off with a 3 lbs loss on the scales tonight, it also bagged me Slimmer of the Week!!! I have never been Slimmer of the Week before, even when I did SW years ago.
This week has taught me two things, I can be resilient when I am having a tough time especially with food, and also that my colleagues are real awesome bunch whom I care about dearly.
I was able to fit in 5 "SP" days! That was really good going fr me and I am glad I have managed to do it. It has brought the "Speed Free" foods back into focus and has reaffirmed the need to have them on each plate. I have enjoyed eating more fruit too this week, I really love clementines at the moment, the ones I keep buying are really sour and I really love them.
Doing SP has also meant that when I am hungry I will reach for fruit to snack on first rather than just having a muller light which isn't ideal. Before I have found that I will eat them for the sake of eating them and not because I actually wanted or needed it.
I now have a total weight loss of 12 lbs!

I am pleased with how this week has gone, I was hoping for a 5 lb loss, but I will not let that detract from how well I did to stay on plan.
Now for the week ahead, I have a whole week off work and I have also booked a holiday week at SW as I do not intend to weigh in. I am going to Bath with my partner for a couple of nights and as much as I want to do well, I also want to enjoy myself as it is a birthday treat. I will make sure to take "safe" food items with me such as clementines and hi-fi bars to munch on when my partner wants a cake at the coffee shop 😝.
My next date with the scales is 1st March, here's hoping for a 2 lb weight loss to get me my 1 stone certificate!
