Day One

I have started the Fast 800 diet again and day one (03/08/2019) and two went great!  I have weighed myself, got basic body fat percentage info from my scales, and also taken my waist measurement.  Out of curiosity I am also tracking my resting heart rate of a morning using the Health App with my Apple watch.

Day one I didn't fast, I just stuck to the 800 calories, and I also managed a gym session.
I felt great, managed an hour in the gym doing a mixture of cardio and resistance.  When I was walking out of the gym I had that amazing rush of endorphins, I definitely need to remember that in the coming weeks to keep my motivation going.

Day two was spent in a field watching my OH play baseball (which I actually love watching).
My first meal was at 10am and my last meal was at 9pm.

Tomorrow (Monday 05/08/2019) I will break my fast at around 9am and I plan to have my last meal at 6pm.
I will be increasing my fasting window over the next week so that I am up to the optimum 16 hours fasting.

I have been eating a mixture of "real food" and meal replacement shakes, mainly relying on the shakes as they make it easier for the lower calories threshold and they're quick and easy.

The shakes I use are from Protein World, and I mix it with unsweetened almond milk.

It has dawned on my how soon my OH and I will be going to Center Parcs (16/09/2019)...just 42 days away!
For me to enjoy this holiday it will require me wearing a swimsuit....eeeeeeek!
We will also be hiring bikes while we're there so I need my fitness levels to be better than what they're currently at too.

Losing weight and getting my butt in the gym will make me feel a lot better approaching this holiday.

I have six weeks, I would love to lose 3lbs a week, so that's what I will work towards.  Of course I would love more, but I need to set a realistic target to help me not fall off the wagon.

My plan is to get to the gym Tues, Weds, and Thurs.
I have a busy weekend ahead, flat warming on Friday, a friend's birthday meal out Friday, and baseball on Sunday!

The birthday meal is at a curry house, I have already looked at the menu and I plan to have chicken tikka and salad.  I am really looking forward to it, and to help my motivation I will be spending some time this week visualising myself ordering it.  This supposedly helps you to focus on what you plan to eat.  Hopefully it will stop the words chicken korma and cheesy naan coming out of my mouth! haha

Hope you all have had a great weekend!
