Week roundup (weigh in 07/11)
First weigh in for November has come and gone, this week I managed to lose a pound!
Happy with that to be honest as the week before I had definitely gone over board so I should have gained more than the 1.5 I did.
Proper bonus to the day, I found these green balls of deliciousness again!!!
Cotton Candy grapes were the highlight of my summer this year and last year. I am super happy they're back for winter. They make syn free snacking a joy!
I feel fresh and ready to rock this month to try and get Slimmer of the Month.
This week will feature more soups and warm comforting dinners.
I bought more of the Genius Beetroot wraps (3 syns each or your HeX B) so I will be having my own version of a McDonalds breakfast wrap in the morning.
I love these as they keep me fuller for longer due to the protein.
Plus who doesn't love a warm breakfast when they've just got to
work on a chilly morning?
I cook/assemble mine the night before and reheat in the microwave at work.
The gorgeous smell makes everyone super jealous in the office!
I bought a 12 week SW countdown last week (to get the recipe book offer) and the 12 weeks started today. That will take me all the way up until 23rd January 🙀!!
Such a long way to look ahead to, though I know it will be gone in a flash. I like buying the countdowns as it is one less thing to worry about and as I have already paid for it I am more likely to show up.
The recipe book that I got with the offer is called "One for All" and every recipe is prepared using just one piece of cookware – from pots and pans to trays and slow cookers. Such a great idea for winter! I'm so much more tired in the winter so hopefully this means less washing up. It'll also be great for the weekend as I'll be able to chuck something in the slow cooker in the morning and go out doing Christmas shopping while dinner is making itself at home.
I'll update you on how I get on with some of the recipes in the near future!
